What makes Totem unique?
Multi-purpose compartments
Removable buckets and integrated bag hooks allow you to separate waste and recycling with ease.
Space-saving
Totem’s innovative vertical layout takes up far less space in the kitchen and ensures the buckets are easier to fill and empty.
Integrated odour control
Airflow technology allows air to pass through the filter, reducing moisture – the main cause of unpleasant odours.
Removable food caddy
Can be stored neatly inside the unit or on the worktop. The lid features a hook, allowing it to be stored on the side of the unit when in use.

I love my new bin
"I love my new 40L stainless-steel bin. It's perfect for putting my recycling in the bottom compartment and then general rubbish and the food caddy insert in the top. Looks smart in my new kitchen. Too early to see how good and how long the special odour feature will last"
The best waste & recycling bin I’ve had
"Fabulous waste bin. It took me months to make the decision due to the cost being so high. But am glad I purchased it, although I bought the wrong colour. Its compact every thing goes in the one System, it doesn’t smell due to the filter. Even food waste tub fits snugly inside and out of the way. I had the old stacking waste bins with the sliding lids but the plastic had become brittle and cracked. Love it P. S. I wasn’t happy at the time it took to arrive !!"
Loving my new waste system
"I am so pleased with my new kitchen bin. The word bin doesn’t do it justice! It’s slick & functional and a blooming gorgeous addition to my kitchen."
The best bin ever !
"We previously had one of these and it has been the best bin ever , perfect neat size and even matches our kitchen exactly, many asking ‘did it come with the kitchen ! So was very sad after 3 or 4 years regular use the hinge to the top bin was beyond repair, So there was no question of replacing with another type of bin as we cannot fault the Joseph Joseph 40L totem bin apart from perhaps a stronger hinge so we just ordered the same and it so good to have it , just love it !"
Producto adecuado a su funcionalidad
"Producto adecuado a su funcionalidad con un tono elegante para espacios que así lo requieran"
Great bin and lovely colour
"Perfect size for our new home and the colour matched perfectly, really good quality. Easy to order and arrived quickly. Would definitely recommend this company."
Good but could have been great
"It's a cool design, blends well into the kitchen, but I'm not a lover of the thin feel to it. the upper bin clasp feels it could weaken over time. I don't love the lower bin, too much bending over."
Great Design, Poor Quality lid
"The bin is a great compact design, looks good, great function and easy to change bin liners. Unfortunately after a year then bin lid broke as the housing for the hinge and springs is a little under engineered in terms of the strength of plastic. I contacted Joseph customer support to enquire about a replacement lid but they were unable to provide one instead insisting I took the bin back to the shop I purchased it from as they only handle items bought direct from them. It's a pain and very wasteful to return a whole bin when all that's required in a small lightweight part replacement"
Excellent bin but lid needs replacing
"I need to replace the lid,. Is that possible"
Great product.
"Such a great product. It is useful, easy to use and easy to clean"
